ROSEVILLE MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING
Location: Roseville, CA
Size: 76,000 sf
Architect: Williams and Paddon
Medical office building located adjacent to the Sutter Roseville Hospital and connected to the hospital by an enclosed breezeway. KCI built the steel framed office structure to support a cost efficient EIFS shell made of weatherproof polymer stucco and foam insulation. The two story high wall panels were manufactured offsite in a factory at the same time the steel was being fabricated and erected.

BEERMANN’S RESTAURANT & BREWERY
Location: Lincoln, CA
Size: 15,013 sf
Architect: Western Sierra Architects
Preservation and rehabilitation work on the IOOF Building which was constructed in 1864. First floor improvements include a commercial kitchen, bar, dining room, and microbrewery. Second and third floor improvements include a commercial kitchen, theater, balcony bar, dining room, conservatory and toilet facilities. The Victorian architecture includes oak storefronts, wooden, marble and tile flooring, ornamental metal ceilings, a belt driven ceiling fan system, marble fireplaces, Victorian fireplaces and decorative period lighting.

WEINSTOCK’S REHABILITATION AND OFFICE CONVERSION

Size: 130,000 sf

Complete demolition of the building interior. Removal of the first level storefront and reconstruction utilizing the original terra-cotta molds to create new terra-cotta building materials architecturally compatible with the existing exterior. New stairwells, toilet rooms, common areas, elevators, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. KCI has continued to construct the Owner’s tenant improvements since the building shell completion. The project was awarded the Merit Award by the American Institute of Architects and the Architectural Achievement Award by the Sacramento Old City Association.

RIVER CITY BANK BUILDING
Location: Sacramento, CA
Size: 100,000 sf
Architect: Carissimi Rohrer & Associates
Complete interior demolition and restoration of a department store into office space. The project included structural and seismic modifications, new elevators, HVAC shafts, poured in place concrete stairways which provided new structural shear to the building shell, extensive structural upgrades to the flooring and roof systems and restoration and modifications to the building exterior.

DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION OFFICE BUILDING
Location: Sacramento, CA
Size: 64,000 sf
Architect: Carissimi Rohrer & Associates
Complete interior demolition and exterior reconstruction of the 830 K Street Montgomery Wards department store into the new headquarters for the State of California Department of Rehabilitation. The project included new areaways to provide natural light to the lower level, stair wells, additional interior floor to the building, completely new plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire protection systems for the building. The building was designed to set the standard and become a statewide model for office building handicap standards.

YOLO COUNTY COURTHOUSE RENOVATION

OLD SACRAMENTO RIVER-FRONT BUILDINGS AND BOARDWALKS
Location: Sacramento, CA
Size: Three individual historically designed buildings
Architect: The Spink Corporation
The remaining three historically replicated buildings on the water-front in Old Sacramento, necessary to complete the overall redevelopment plan for the City of Sacramento.
